Junior Summer Programme – University of Limerick

 

Limerick is on the west coast and is the third largest city in Ireland. It is situated on the River Shannon - Ireland’s longest river, and only 20 minutes from Shannon International Airport. The Shannon Region is a particularly beautiful part of Ireland with a dramatic Atlantic coastline offering tremendous diversity in its scenery and activities. Students stay in attractive village style accommodation in individual houses with single rooms located only 10 minutes from the city centre. All meals are served in the main university restaurant, which is close to the classroom facilities.

Dates: 30th June to 29th July 2018  Age: 11-17 years  Groups Only

University Of Limerick Intensive Programme Includes:

  • Full board accommodation in single ensuite rooms
  • 15 hours General English in the mornings and 5 hours over 2 half-days of  ‘World of Work’ seminars/conversation club
  • Use of textbooks and other learning materials
  • Graded certificate and end of course report
  • Organised sports activities
  • Three half-day excursions over two weeks including entrance fee and transport which may include- Thomond Park and Bunratty Castle 
  • One full-day excursion per week with entrance fee including 1 Dublin trip with late return per stay, other trips may include –
  • Blarney Castle & Cork City 
  • Two night stay in Dublin area with full board standard single accommodation and excursions with two entrance fees
  • Evening programme including discos, films, karaoke, Irish night and other activities
