Junior Summer Programme – University College Dublin

The main campus of University College Dublin (UCD) is situated at Belfield, a 132 hectare site 4km south of the city centre of Dublin city. This campus is attractively landscaped complex of modern architectural buildings, accommodating most colleges and schools of the university as well as it's student residences and numerous leisure and sporting facilities.
For over 150 years, UCD has produced graduates of remarkable distinction including famous surgeons, architects, entrepreneurs and five of Ireland's Taoiseach (Prime Ministers). Perhaps the best known of all its graduates is the writer James Joyce, who completed his Bachelor of Arts at the University in 1902.

UCD Standard Programme Includes:

  • Glenomena Village, Roebuck and Ashfield residence- en-suite accommodation, single rooms in apartments with shared living area
  • 15 hours of English language tuition per week
  • Use of textbooks and other learning materials
  • Alternative weekly morning and afternoon classes
  • Use of textbooks and other learning materials
  • Graded certificate and end of course report
  • One 3 hour World of Work seminar/ conversation club perweek
  • Comprehensive sports options including Olympic size swimming pool once per week
  • 1 half-day cultural visit per week including entrance fee
  • 3 cultural half days over 2 weeks exploring Dublin with ATC Staff using the LEAP card.
  • 1 full day excursion per coach per week including entrance fee
  • Evening programme including discos, films, karaoke, Irish night an other activities
  • LEAP card(transport ticket for bus, train and tram)
