Our short TEFL training programme for State Qualified Teachers (SQT) is a 30-hour programme held over one week. This programme is specifically for state qualified teachers and for those in their final year of teacher training college. The course is accredited by the The Accreditation and Co-ordination of English Language Services (www.acels.ie). Successful completion will qualify teachers to teach English as a foreign language to secondary level students in Ireland.
Our Teacher Development Programme for Teachers of English to Young Learners is a 60-hour programme, run over 2 weeks. Each week consists of 25 hours in the classroom + 5 hours of cultural excursions. Classroom time is divided between personal language development, and teaching development.
