Location
Maynooth is situated 24km west of Dublin, just 40 minutes from Dublin airport. All the attractions of the capital are within easy reach and the town is served by frequent bus and rail connections. In addition to the College Visitor Centre, there is much to see and enjoy in the vicinity of Maynooth, including Castletown House and Celbridge Abbey.
About the College
Maynooth University dates back to 1795. The campus is extensive and caters for over 3,000 Irish students during the academic year. The unique blend of up to date facilities on a mature campus is the perfect setting for an International Language School.
Accommodation
Accommodation is provided in the university apartments. Each apartment comprises a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortably furnished lounge. Accommodation is in single rooms. Most of the rooms are ensuite.
Sport & Recreational Facilities
Facilities include: a sports complex with gymnasium where students can play table tennis, basketball, badminton, volleyball, an indoor heated swimming pool and extensive playing fields and tennis courts.
