About the College
Cork University is situated on 44 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds bordering the River Lee.The university dates back to 1845 and caters for almost 11,000 students, during the academic year. The university is only 5 minutes from the city centre and has excellent accommodation and sports facilities.
Accommodation
Accommodation is provided in the university apartments. Farranlea Hall comprises 3,4,5 and 6 ensuite bedroom apartments, stylishly designed and featuring all modern conveniences including a fully fitted kitchen/living room.
Sport & Recreational Facilities
Facilities include: indoor swimming pool, two indoor halls, tennis courts, a running track and several outdoor football pitches.
